Other Info
Ride Type: Road
On Wednesday we’ll be riding a 55 mile fairly flat loop out Lower Bridge and thru Dry Canyon. Start time will be 8:00 at the Tumalo Coffee House. Temps are forecasted to be 68 deg at the start and 83 deg at noon. Pretty nice!
Important notes on our route: We’ll start by heading up Cline Falls and work our way down to Hwy 20 where we turn right. We have a quick 2 miles to a right turn on Fryrear road. Fortunately, we never have to cross Hwy 20. While on 20, we’ll stay single file. Once on Fryrear we’ll enjoy its famously smooth pavement. We’ll briefly stop and regroup at mile 15 where Fryrear crosses 126. We’ll stop again at about mile 39 at the start of Dry Canyon where’s there’s a bathroom. At the finish we’ll enjoy some social time at the Tumalo Coffee House.
I'll be riding at A,B and C paces, depending on terrain and how I feel:)
This is Kurt Sprinman’s birthday ride. Woo Hoo! Happy Birthday Kurt! He wishes he was still 55. We’ll see if there are any hardy souls interested in doing an additional 11 miles after the official ride is done.
Please be sure to download the route.
