Crooked River Canyon Out and Backs

Start location: Pioneer Park,  450 NE 3rd St, Prineville, OR 97754

Join us Monday for one of our favorite rides Central Oregon can offer!!   As we move from the Park towards the canyon we will quickly be taken over by the rural feel.  As this canyon narrows the views of the bluffs, winding road, meandering river and grasslands are stunning.  This ride is truly epic!

Karen Painter will ride at  a "C" pace with Beth Wickham as a co-leader, but all riders are welcome to roll at their own pace. Ride to the reservoir, shorter or longer. It's riders choice!

We'll try to keep the group together but riders are welcome to do their own pace.  If we get spread out, we'll regroup at the turn around point which is the bathroom at the bottom of the hill (not all the way to the water).   This ride will begin and end at  Pioneer Park 450 NE 3rd St.  Park on same street as Crook County Court House.   Bathroom stop at McDonalds before Court House and at  Pioneer  Park. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51748096

Please be Ready to Ride at 9:50 am so we can  gather and have a short chat about the route, safe riding and get to know each other before we start riding as close to the designated time as possible.

In the event of a cancellation or a route change, you will be notified by email.  If you do not register you will not receive the email.  PLEASE, all members should register for ride for planning purposes and liability.

Are you unsure of some of those hand signals on these group rides?
