Water & Lava with Black Rock

The gem of Bend. One the best gravel rides in the area. Rides along the Deschutes river, some flowy singletrack along with some rocky areas. This is a variation of a Dirty Freehub route. We'll add the Black Rock singletrack, the first mountain biking trail in Central Oregon, to keep it spicy and fun.

The weather forecast for Wednesday predicts mostly sunny weather with riding temps in the mid 40 to low 50s. Because there is no rain forecast for the days prior to the ride, I'm hoping for little mud.

10:30 am start from the Cascade Lakes Welcome Center on Cascade Lakes Highway. Please arrive early enough for a 10:30 departure.

Moving time: about 3 hours. Please bring a bike GPS, loaded with this route. Turns happen quick and you need to be responsible for your own navigation.
