Crooked River Canyon Out and Backs

 Join us Saturday for one of our favorite rides Central Oregon can offer!!   As we move from the Park towards the canyon we will quickly be taken over by the rural feel.  As this canyon narrows the views of the bluffs, winding road, meandering river and grasslands are stunning.  This ride is truly epic!

This will be a leaderless ride as it's an out and back, so grab your riding buddies and RIDE ON.  Ride to the reservoir to make it 40 (20 O&B) or ride 5 miles further to the 2nd cattle guard (25 miles out) to make it an even 50.  This ride will begin and end at Crook County Court House.   Bathroom stop at McDonalds before Court House and at City Park.

An AQI of 100 will cancel this ride.  We will monitor wind direction closely, so far we are forecast to receive SW winds Friday night out of Madras until 10:00 am and then a shift to WNW winds until 1:00 pm.  We should be long gone by Noon.  Our Plan B route will be Cascades Lake Hwy from Edison Sno Park. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/51748096

In the event of a cancellation or a route change, you will be notified by email.  If you do not register you will not receive the email.  PLEASE, all members should register for ride for planning purposes and liability.   

This is a leaderless ride so be sure to download the ride with GPS route map. There is no sag.
