A beautiful ride up north and best done in Spring or Fall.   We leave from Madras Community Park at 10:00 (50 min drive from Bend), follow the beautiful Madras Mountain Views Scenic Bikeway for part of the way, but take a northerly turn on the way back... which is where the real fun starts. We fly down a long, gradual straightaway, then dive down a series of steep switchbacks to the bottom of Lake Simtustus, which means we then take a series of steep switchbacks back out. This a similar route to the A/B route (-26 miles).  This route will cut it short by not continuing up North towards Madras, but cut East as we reach lake Simtustus.

Any C paced rider that would like to ride the A/B 55 mile ride at their own pace may do so.  You can either start at 10:00 am or at 9:30 am.  Please understand that you are electing to ride without the guidance of a ride leader and are expected to have the route printed out or on your bike computer.  Please sign up with the A/B group.

Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for this ride.  Join us after if we are up to it at the Madras Public House.
