Over the Rainbow

Cowdogs, more gravel goodness with about 50% pavement. Hopefully the good air elves will repeat their magic from the last two weeks.  This is an amazing ride, familiar to those that flyfish. A Dirty Freehub route. 

When I did this ride 2 years ago in April there were no goathead issues. But make sure your sealant is fresh and you're running tubeless. And yes there is a 23% grade on the pavement for .5 miles!

Start is at the Erickson Aircraft Museum parking, about 1.25 hours from Bend in Madras. Park in the dirt lot on the north side of the building. There are no parking permits or fees. Arrive early enough for a 9:30am start.

Please bring a bike GPS, loaded with this route. Not just your phone. Turns happen quickly and you need to be responsible for your own navigation.
