Fall gravel ride through the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, 26 miles south of Burns, OR. For full description see "Bird Nerd" on Dirty Freehub website. Drive time from Bend to the Narrows RV park is 2.5+ hours or 160 +/- miles. Lodging: Narrows RV park also has a single KOA type cabin plus tent campsites, motels in Burns, and rooms at the Frenchglen Hotel 18 miles south of RV Park on Hwy 205. No water stops on this ride; camelback recommended. Marginal to zero cell service. This route has not been scouted by ride leaders.
