RESCHEDULED Greenridge Out and Back
  ALL Levels/38/Road      Leaderless                  Link

Join us for a great Out and Back on one of the most serene roads Sisters has to offer!  This is another favorite and moderately challenging ride.  The latest report from Eurosport on McKenzie Pass, seems to be unridable.

Notice our start at Fir Street Park across from the newest Food truck gathering The Barn, home of Boone Dog Pizza!  We may have some ride leaders setting the pace for each level, so don't disappear from the start.  Please hang around for any pre-ride talks.

The makers of Car Talk have nothing on Bike Talk with Perry and Lee.  Join this awesome duo after this ride as they discuss and demonstrate “Road-side Flats, Tips and Tricks.”

Objectives:

  • To deal with a flat safely

  • Rear wheel removal

  • Use of a tire boot

  • The use of a CO2 tank or pump

  • Other types of tools necessary, such as tire levers, patch kit, etc

  • Patching will be discussed but not demonstrated

  • Tubeless tires will be discussed but not demonstrated

Perry and Lee plan on a 30-45 min hands on demonstration.  Please sign up if you would like to participate after the ride.  The demonstration will be held at Fir St Park.

Two useful videos regarding types of flats and patching a tube as well as fixing a tubeless.
