Oktoberfest from Disco Park

As the cycling season comes to an end it's time to acknowledge what a great year it has been for the Central Oregon Wheelers.  90% of the club  participated in a COWs ride and 147 events were posted this year. Please celebrate with us at the Bend Pizza Kitchen (NWX) immediately after the ride. The club will purchase the pizza and you bring or buy your beverage. The seating is outdoors.

Whether weather. October 19 is iffy for weather. If there is rain/snow the ride is cancelled.  But we might get lucky. Walter and I did this ride last year on 10/16 and had a great time. This is a Dirty Freehub route with the addition of starting and ending at Disco Park.

Last year, I was amazed at the remoteness given that I started from home. And Tumalo Falls is always a treat. Single track was fun and not overly technical.  Route finding can be tricky at times.

• 10am from Disco Park. 
• 90% unpaved
• No food or water on route (unless you purify river water)
• No e-bikes allowed 
• It's always good to have the route on your Garmin, Wahoo, or phone.   
• AQI above 100 cancels.
• Covid Vaccinated riders only, thanks.
