Sun River Loop from Welcome Station

This ride combines some fun singletrack with relatively easy gravel riding. We begin at the Welcome Station on Century, taking Catch and Release to the newly created Afternoon Delight trail to Roundabout, eventually arriving at the "bridge" in Sunriver. From here we take a short jaunt on paved paths to the beginning of the River Trail in Sunriver. This singletrack takes us to the bridge at Benham Falls where we will enjoy a return to the Visitor's Center on a combination of gravel and singletrack.

Ride time approximately 3.5 hours. This ride is rated "C" due to ride length and the extended climb on Catch and Release and Afternoon Delight. All in all we'll climb close to 1300 feet, most of this coming in the first 10 miles. Total ride mileage will be 23 miles. We will regroup at major junctions.

This ride will be cancelled if smoky conditions prevail. Riders should bring sufficient water and snacks and basic tools, tubes, etc. It's supposed to be HOT on Sunday.

We will leave promptly at 8:30 so please arrive prior to that start time for introductions and ride overview.
