Triangle Hill Tour

Ride Classification Leader  GPS My Ride
C/28/Gravel Michel Bayard                 Link

This is a very scenic ride in Skyline Forest with great views of the Cascades and the surrounding areas. About half of the ride will be in wooded areas, the rest being open country. In spite of low elevation gains and moderate total distance, there are a number of short rocky hills and patches of loose, sandy surfaces, making the ride more tiring than the profile would suggest. But overall road conditions are good.

Most of the climbing will be done in the first 13.5 miles and the rest of the ride will be a gentle downhill with almost no climbing. I am using 700cx50mm tires and 700cx40mm would work as well. However, I do not recommend narrower tires.

It would be wise to download the ride on you GPS device or phone, since there are many opportunities to get lost. We will regroup at regular intervals.

8AM start to beat the likely heat. Please arrive early and be ready to ride at 8.

Start: 44.1413169, -121.4184589 Tumalo Reservoir. Drive west on Tumalo Reservoir Rd, go over the bridge, drive a fifth of a mile to the junction of Bull Flat and Sisemore roads.

This is a Fully Vaccinated ride only.
