Lush! Gravel Ride

When the roads west of town get hot and dusty, we like to head to the cool(er) ponderosa forests of the Ochocos. Please join us in riding the Dirty Freehub route called Lush! The word “adventure” in the link says it all. The route is almost all gravel with very little pavement. The route is remote, so please come prepared! We strongly encourage you to download the route onto your navigation device or smartphone. There is likely no cell coverage.

The pace will be fine for C riders. Plan on a ride time, including stops, of about 5 hours. We will stop for a lunch break at some point along the way. Bring lots of water!

8:45 am start at the Bandit Springs sno-park on Highway 26, about 35 minutes east of Prineville. North side of the road. Pit toilets should be open. Lat / Long: 44.486632, -120.397040. Please arrive early enough to be ready to roll by 8:45am.
