Casual Jaunt to Benham Falls and Back

Ride Classification Leader  GPS My Ride
C/20/Gravel & Singletrack Susan Keys Link

This is a fun off-road ride with a mix of easy singletrack and gravel/dirt forest roads. We will leave from the Visitors Center and do and out-and-back to Benham Falls.

I usually do this ride from the Phil's Trailhead but because of the heat, we'll keep it shorter. We should be riding less than 2 hours with a steady moderate pace and will be sure no one gets dropped or lost. Surfaces are good and there are no technical sections, so a gravel bike with reasonably wide tires (40+ recommended) or a mountain bike are equally appropriate. If you're looking for a fun jaunt through the forest or an intro to off-road trails, this is a good ride. If you want to rip and roll, this is not the ride for you.

Meet at the Forest Service visitor's center parking lot (near the Century Drive/NF41 intersection) ready to ride at 8:00 AM.

This is a fully vaccinated ride only!
