Five hundred miles away from his home state, NFL and MLB legend Bo Jackson watched in shock as a series of devastating tornadoes ripped through Alabama on April 27, 2011, claiming hundreds of lives and destroying countless homes. On the first anniversary of the deadly tornadoes, he hopped in the saddle and rode 300 miles to raise funds for victims and communities that were struggling to recover, and Bo Bikes Bama was born. Bo's annual ride raises money to provide both community relief after natural disasters as well as funding for the construction of storm shelters.
