Agency Plains Loop

This is one of my favorite, early-season routes. Please join me while it is still cool to ride the Madras area. This 53-mile route shares sections with Madras Mountain Views, passes through carrot, mint, and grass seed crop farming areas, and by the old rail town of Gateway or Galloway. The riding conditions will be early season, so please watch the forecast and prepare accordingly. Elapsed time of the ride should be around 4 hrs. We'll ride at a C-pace but give the ride also a D for enDurance this early in the season.

From Bend it's a 50 min drive through Redmond to Madras 7th Street Community Park, so we can coordinate carpools. We will plan for a 8:00AM Bend departure from the Cascade Village Starbucks hoping for a 9:00AM start in Madras at the Community Park (with water and restrooms).
