ODOT and Bend are making a number of improvements to HWY 20 between Bend and Tumalo.   Included is a Bike/Ped Tunnel under HWY 20 in Tumalo (at 4th Street - same road as Tumalo Coffee) , significantly improving safety.  While the tunnel is complete, the access roads and west buttresses have not been started, and are unfortunately not planned for completion until November 2023.
